Concepts

The Cashlink Distributor API is based on the following concepts:

Products: Financial instruments issued as crypto securities are called products.

Investors: Legal or natural persons that own crypto securities are called investors.

Wallets: Each wallet associated to an investor has a unique account address that is used for recording ownership of crypto securities.

Investment: An investment represents a primary market or secondary market purchase transaction of a crypto security.

Transfers: Investors are able to send parts of their investments to other investors. Such a secondary market transaction is called a transfer. A successfully processed transfer will result in a new investment for the receiving investor account.

The following pages describes these concepts in more detail.
